Finding my balance

Finding our balance on Eel Pond, Martha's Vineyard
Thank you @JessTaingYoga for being a Muse along this path!

This summer working on Martha's Vineyard I have met so many wonderful people. Families that live year round, ones who come every summer for 10 to 30 years, and beautiful hearts that work here just for the summer from all over the globe. To #beopen invites incredible connections to people and is a huge part of this healing solo journey for me. It also brings new experiences to the forefront.

One of these lovely people is #JessTaingYoga. I enjoyed my time on the water with Jess, trying something brand new. What we thought was only 30 minutes in testing the anchors was actually almost 2 hours. It is amazing how time flies when hearts open up and laughter is shared. A mutual love of the water and the life that lives within. I will never forget the first #downwarddog yoga position on the paddle board. Completely surreal! I am saying yes to trying new things. I had never been on a paddle board before this summer and a first for Yoga on the water. It is definitely a blessing. To slow down, breathe deeply and feel the flow of the water beneath me.

Another thing about Martha's Vineyard that I cherish. It feels as though you have gone back in time to a quieter and slower pace. #Edgartown is a special experience that I will cherish. A lot of lessons coming forth in holding healthy boundaries and honoring the self. Building an extended community and walking to the water almost daily. I loved the College kids I worked with, they too added greatly to my experience. In the Tourist season the population goes from 20,000 to over 116,000 on Martha's Vineyard!

Also, a gratitude send out to #JosephGray for your photos, patience and chilling while we had much needed water time!
